Station One

1957 marked construction of the first fire station in Blacksburg. Station One, located at 200 Progress Street, was expanded in 1981 and is still in use today. The station is shared between the fire department and rescue squad, with the majority of the building dedicated to the rescue squad. Station One houses six pieces of fire apparatus: Ladder 3, Mini Pumper 4, Engine 7, Engine 8, Brush 12, and an officer response vehicle.
Station Two

Station Two, located at 2700 Prices Fork Road, was opened Halloween Night, October 31, 1986. It houses the fire museum, a small bunk room, and a meeting room. Station Two houses seven pieces of apparatus: Ladder 2, Light and Air 5, Tanker 6, Engine 9, Engine 10, Brush 11, and an officer response vehicle.
Station Three

Station Three, located at 407 Hubbard Street, partially opened on 11/19/10. It houses administrative offices, classrooms, and the office of the town's Fire Code Official. The fire department holds it's monthly business meetings here. The station adjoins the airport property, and the fire department has direct airport access via a gate behind the building. When completed, it will include firefighter living quarters.
